Another Gem!

The time here in Bandol is flying by.  Friday, we decided to visit Cassis. Sue and I had been there many years ago - and it must have been many, many because asides from the harbour, not too much looked familiar.  It was market day so there was lots to explore even before we got to the harbour. 

Cassis is very well known so what with the market, the fact it was Friday and school is out next week, and that the weather was good, it was a pretty crowded place.  It is quite similar to Sanary sur Mer although the harbour at Cassis is smaller and its geographic setting much more dramatic.

And, check out those cliffs in the second photo.  More about them in the next two blogs.  They are as impressive as any I've seen including the Cliffs of Moher!
